DingTalk Lite helps high school build up an online education platform

Malaysia has been in partial lockdown due to COVID-19, and Nan Hwa High School is not able to conduct any teaching work offline, so they have been looking for a platform for online classes. For security reasons, DingTalk Lite was chosen as the online teaching platform. At present, teachers and students from the whole school are using DingTalk Lite for online teaching.
How did you know about DingTalk Lite?
Ms. Shield, Teacher and Assistant of Academic Department of Nan Hwa High School: Malaysia has been in partial lockdown due to COVID-19, so we could no longer conduct any offline teaching. To keep up with the curriculum, we needed to find an online teaching platform which ensured that students' learning was not disrupted. When we started a comparison between several online teaching platforms, one of the students recommended DingTalk Lite.
Have you used any other online class tools? How would you compare others with DingTalk Lite?
Ms. Shield, Teacher and Assistant of Academic Department of Nan Hwa High School: At the beginning, we tried another platform for online classes. But, for security reasons, we finally chose DingTalk Lite, as we felt it was the only online class platform which would be suitable for use by the whole school.
How do you usually use DingTalk Lite for teaching?
Ms. Shield, Teacher and Assistant of Academic Department of Nan Hwa High School : We mainly use DingTalk Lite for giving lessons, sending and receiving homework; teachers can write directly on the whiteboard, or share their screen with students. The interaction is very good. DingTalk Lite also includes such core features as video meeting, live broadcast, chat, and scheduling to meet all the requirements for online teaching. And it is easy and smooth to use.
What is the most surprising feature for you?
Ms. Shield, Teacher and Assistant of Academic Department of Nan Hwa High School : In the past, when assigning the homework, we would have to use different communication tools to send it out. Teachers also needed to perform a lot of statistics and collection work. Now, using a single platform such as DingTalk Lite, everyone can send and receive homework in one place, as well as seeing who else has submitted the work. After sharing their homework in such a way, the students have shown greater motivation and become enthusiastic about homework.
In terms of campus management, what experience does DingTalk Lite bring to you?
Ms. Shield, Teacher and Assistant of Academic Department of Nan Hwa High School : The School can efficiently manage its curriculums and teachers can create groups at any time, facilitating smoother communication throughout the whole school.
